On the Marilyn Murphy Kane Walking Trail the city's second leash dog park occupies 1,5 acres. It has a closed dog game zone with a narrower dog square and a distinct dog square. Drinking pools, shades and even agility constructions are available.

The Pleasanton Police Department K9 Officer Cubby was honored with a fresh dog park, which was formally dubbed Cubby's Dog Park in Bernal. The K9 department was created in 1974 and Cubby was the first to enter, and served the full Tri Valley as well as Pleasanton.

Graves has died but he and his friends, his sister Valerie, who now works with the police department, attended the Saturday celebration.

Before Cubby produced the initial move, more than 300 submissions were obtained in a dogpark naming competition.

A really big dog park. Separate parks for big and small ones, both big. Plenty of benches for people to sit too. Recently they added more parking too! I only wish instead of tan barks, it was grass. All in all, a nice park. If your dog doesn't like the place, there is a nice trail that starts right at the entrance. Parking is plentiful. There is water and some shade. Clean well kept dog park. Mostly well mannered dogs and a great group of responsible regulars. Super clean, shady seating for humans, two drinkers, potty bag and trash can spots. Best set up for transition between big and small dog area. Parking lot has ample spaces.

Clean, well stocked and plenty of room for the pups to run and socialize. It has a small dog section and an all dog yard. Seating under shared structure and trees for the dog parents. You'll love it. Great dog park with easy access and always clean. here are nice benches to sit and lots of nice concrete and bark to run and play on. Just before sunset it is very pretty over the Pleasanton Ridge which is very steep. This is a beautiful spot with lots of trees and very nice safe neighborhoods in the surrounding area. There is also grocery shopping and restaurants just .5 miles distance away.
