For more than four decades, the Bartlett Family has called the Livermore Valley home and started their wine history as a wine storage cellar in 2002, then proceeded to produce wine. This engagement to the place would make you feel like an old friend is visiting you. The Livermore Valley and Tracy Hills grapes show classic varieties as well as some lesser-known gems.
Dick(Charles R) Bartlett is the operations manager and oversees all facilities, structures, and acreage for the wine cellar, the tasting room, and maintenance. You can see him passing by on his favorite backhoe as a former contractor. Bonnie retired as a legal assistant for the City of Livermore after several years and now runs the tasting room, winery office, and likes to spend time painting watercolor, traveling, or working in the winery gardens.
Considered the heart of Charles R, the tasting room is staffed by experienced associates, assisting with wine production, arranging and pouring at local tri-valley pourings and activities, and providing several other useful services.
Winemaker Lisa Lee first discovered the wine area of Livermore through classes at the Viticulture and Winery Technology program of Las Positas College. She later received her 2012 University of California, Davis Winemaking Certificate. As the foundation of friendship, laughter and essential decision making, she sees healthy food and wine.
Escape to their beautifully secluded back patio for an afternoon. Pack your favourite snacks or a picnic, enjoy their wine and relax. With their covered patio area, you will be able to enjoy the rain or shine of this unique location.
There's a warm friendly and casual atmosphere. Members of the Miners Wine Club make this venue their own and frequently visit it. To find us and come back time and time again, new guests are always pleasantly surprised.
The walls of our tasting room are decorated with antique instruments representing the history of mining and farming. You'll also find local artists' unique objects and pieces. Ask Bonnie about her most recent works of art or about her trips to Italy.
Their professional associates in the Tasting Room look forward to your next visit and make you feel like a family. With a sampling trip, sample their latest offerings, or concentrate on your favorites with wine by the glass or bottle.
