Built in 1902-1903 by L.V Perry for Henry (Harry) and Elodia Keller, the house at first was located southeast corner Galindo Road near Clayton. In 1984, it was moved to Ellis Lake Park and it's now used for community service activities and has been an integral part of so many things including fishing trips with friends on weekends or family birthday parties where children go swimming while parents watch nearby in picnic shelters.
Now, community non-profit Monument impact serves immigrants and refugees in the City of Concord as well as low-income residents across Contra Costa County. The organization provides services such as food donations or emergency funds to those who need it most, all while maintaining a strong commitment towards environmental justice for people from different backgrounds.
