The Meadow Homes Park has a great splash pad and picnic areas. The 12-acre park is built on the side of a hill, making it perfect for kids to play in one part then head up into nature. There’s also plenty more than just water features, multi-use sporting fields as well as basketball courts and other fun activities like playground tents that provide shade when you need some rest from all those sunbeams burning down your skin every day. When night time comes around though it's time to get excited because you can enjoy this beautiful spot without any street lights interrupting traffic noise.

  • Spray Park

The Spray Park at the Meadow Homes Park is a place for kids to play with friends, or by themselves. The spray ground includes multiple areas that are perfect for any age group including toddlers. There's also outdoor seating under shade trees with plenty of room left over if you want an intimate gathering where people won't be pressed against each other all day long. The operating season begins Memorial Day weekend and continues until the last Sunday in September. It's open every day but it does close during the winter months.


How To Get There

Meadow Homes Park is conveniently located in Concord, California. It's easy to get there whether you are walking or driving. If you walk from downtown Concord it should take about 30 minutes depending on your pace and how often you stop along the way to enjoy nature.


If you are driving to Meadow Home Park from downtown Concord they recommend parking on Salvio St just past Smith St., or across Angela Blvd at Todos Santos Plaza where there is a large parking lot.  After arriving in Meadow Homes park look for free street parking along with Galindo between Sunnyvale Dr and Treat Blvd/Berkley School Rd. It's easy enough to spot because it has lots of green space around it compared to other parts of the neighborhood which tend toward browning grasses in the summer.
